About me
I am Faith, I am a Melbourne-based Pinay journalist and producer. I have a Graduate diploma in Journalism from RMIT University, and a Broadcasting degree from LSPU-Santa Cruz, Philippines. Currently, I am undertaking my cadetship with Seymour Telegraph. I was a TV reporter back home, and now a radio producer here in Australia. I like to write stories about minorities, culture, entertainment, and science.
Growing up, I’ve always admired reporters and anchors on TV, and that fueled my passion in broadcast and the industry so after completing my Bachelor’s degree, I started my career as a journalist in a state-owned TV network in my home country. If given the chance, I’d love to travel and tell the amazing stories of the world.
I produced for ABC Radio Australia on Pacific Beat and was a casual reporter for the show. I was volunteer as a reporter and host at Panorama on SYN 90.7FM. SYN hosted an awards night in December 2022 where I was nominated and won the categry of Best Review or Current Affairs Segment or Feature of the year. I also wrote for The Swanston Gazette, and The City Journal. I also have by-lines for ABC Fact Check. You can view my CV here.
In my spare time, I love to read, watch documentaries, do a little bit of public speaking, and sometimes maybe write a little poem.
